What we offer at Northern Dermatology
Scar revision treatments include:
Fractionated CO2 LASER can be used to revise recent surgical scars with the optimal time to commence treatment 4 to 8 weeks after surgery. The aim of the treatment is to modify the contour and texture of the scar to blend in with the adjacent skin. Multiple LASER treatments are required to remodel surgical scars – to reduce nodularity of the surgical scars and blend the scar into the adjacent skin. It is a more effective treatment than silicon gels, massage, non-ablative LASERs or fractionated radiofrequency.
