Cantharadin treatment for warts
Cantharadin is an extract from the blister beetle and is particularly useful in treatment of plantar warts. An uncomfortable blister occurs the following day after application which peels off over 3 to 5 days. Often several treatments are required for successful treatment of the wart.
Cryotherapy treatment for warts
Cryotherapy is the application of the gaseous vapor of liquefied nitrogen. Cryotherapy is a first line treatment for warts. Vigorous monthly treatments are required and is usually coupled with daily application of salicylic acid cream.
